Forget food trucks, fashion trucks are next

No one is about to say that food trucks are even close to dead. Trends stick around for a while in D.C. — we’re still not tired of burgers yet. But it looks like fashion is about to lend food trucks some competition.

The Styleliner, a New York-based concept, is headed to D.C. for six weeks. The truck will debut May 4 and visit various D.C. locations, including M Street and Wisconsin Avenue, Dupont Circle and the W hotel, on Thursdays through Sundays.

The 20-foot converted potato chip truck will be carrying a variety of accessories, some from major designers and some from truck founder Joey Wolffer.
